Northern Eye Books are publishers of award-winning walking books covering National Parks, long-distance walks and scenic areas of England, Wales and Scotland. Tony and Carl have approached me to work with them on a range of regular projects since 2017, starting with guidebook design and social media content and, in 2019-2020, an entire re-brand. Their ethos to explore and cherish the most beautiful parts of the UK resonate with mine, and so every project with Northern Eye runs seamlessly from start to finish!

Above: I worked with Tony and Carl on their award-winning ‘Top 10 Walks’ guidebook layout. The final designs are easy to follow, informative and clear, with accurate Ordnance Survey mapping and inspiring imagery from professional photographers.
Above: The redesigned Northern Eye logo represents the British landscape; mountains, countryside and the coast, through a sleek icon. Two versions were needed – one standard logo for general use (top), plus a landscape version (bottom) suitable for use on the spine of guidebooks. A dark letterbox red was chosen as the brand colour due to it’s high-contrast against the greens, browns and blues that are featured so prevalently throughout their walking books.
